Here's a list of movies that I'm meant to watch for English. Actually I'm meant to choose one of these and write a five minute speech on it.

[Buble] Come Fly With Me

"I mean, what is an un-birthday present?"
"A present given when it isn't your birthday, of course."
Alice considered a little. "I like birthday presents best," she said at last.
"You don't know what you're talking about!" cried Humpty Dumpty. "How many days are there in a year?"
"Three hundred and sixty-five," said Alice.
"And how many birthdays have you?"
"One." - Lewis Carroll

It's my birthday today! Woot! I'm 16! Thanks to everyone who said happy birthday!

I got a really nice tea set...not exactly a tea set...it had tea, a mug, a strainer and a lid. Such a nice pattern. Thanks Tash!

You wanna know what else I got?

Here was my reaction, see if you can guess.

O.O

My parents bought me Buble Tickets!

Not only that, but my aunt, who is coming up from Melbourne is going with me!

[Chicago]

Alright, just a quick entry before I start watching tv again.

So, I survived camp, although those of you that read this probably know that already. Now to make a list about the good things (I like lists). I would make one about the bad things as well, but I'm too lazy.

  • Food. And I mean actual food, most of the time at least. Not like what you normally get at camps. This stuff is edible, and does not invoke sudden mass vomiting (unlike the chocolate mousse that was handed out during my year 6 camp).
  • Speaking of food, damper is great when cooked on a BBQ. One tip though, don't put honey directly on the BBQ.
  • Fun stuff like: abseiling (which I really like, it's the best bit of rock-climbing), trapeze (awesome, even though I missed), kayaking (I got soaked, the water didn't exactly go where it was meant to...) and last but not least, high ropes (which was easier that I expected it to be. Just like walking a beam - only 14 meters above the ground, while the poles are all shaking)

One thing I have to mention is that we didn't get to do archery : ( I was really looking forward to it...Oh well.

Besides that, I spent nearly three hour in our school pond. It was very cold....Very cold.

[Doctor Who] Rose + doctor
it was our first day back at school, so I suppose it's good that I managed to finish at least some of my work...

I picked up my first pair of glasses yesterday. I can see clearly now....  :-) I even got some nice colours on the frames! They're very shiny. Whee! SHINY! I don't think that

Double episodes of NCIS. They make me so happy! *squee* I think I need an NCIS icon.

Oh and Lillith. You so OWE me NCIS DVDs, ok? That's the deal. I give you Torchwood and Doctor Who, and you give me NCIS.

Why yes, I am a geek. Believe it or not, I've only been doing this for two days, on and off.

Anyway, it's a work in progress. Look, I even have a picture.

Happy Birthday Beckyy!

I suppose there is no point in having one of these if I don't write in it. Good thing is, I have time (because we're on holidays!) so this is me, writing.

Anyway, Happy Birthday Beckyy. I'm sorry that I can't make it to your birthday party. :( I swear, I get sick at the most inappropriate times. The start of the holidays, someone's birthday, I can guarantee that I will be on the couch with a rubbish bin full of tissues. At least I can stay at home today.

Apart from that, not much going on. I've been watching lots of tv, including knitting shows and Trinny and Sussanah (don't judge me, they're fun).

Be Gentle With Me?

Ok, so I caved. I promised myself I wouldn't get sucked in, but live-journal is a black hole (and I say that in the nicest way possible)

I shouldn't even be posting at the moment. I'm meant to be doing my biology assignment, but hey, at least my procrastinating is useful :).

Anyway, I've been in a good mood, because yesterday I got my copy of the Doctor Who Encyclopedia: The Definitive Guide to Time and Space. For a book that's retailed at $50 (Australian, because I live there, but also because I'm too lazy at the moment to change the money into pounds or American dollars) I'm proud that I got it for $7. xp. I also got to show off my extreme geekery at school because the head teacher of English at school bought a massive Who poster at put it up in his room. I just feel sorry for the girls in the room at the time, they had to cover their ears in order to protect their eardrums form my ear piecing shriek of joy :)

Right so, I'm getting glared at by my dad, so I'll be heading back to work.

*waves* See you later

Looks like it's going to rain by the way. YAY! Also Spooks is on later tonight. DOUBLE YAY!
